Present research experiment was conducted in two consecutive Kharif season of 2014 and 2015 at the field of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Raisen (M.P.) with four planting distance of transplanted pigeonpea variety TJT-501 in completely randomized block design. On the basis of two years result it was found that three transplanting distance of 90 x 30 cm, 90 x 60 cm, 90 x 90 cm in comparison to dibbling on 90 x 20 cm, produced maximum yield and gave higher net return as well as highest B: C ratio.
