Abstract

Mango is an important crop of different districts like Lucknow, Unnao, Sitapur and Barabanki of Central U.P. but incidence of fruit flies reduce the quality and quantity of fruits. Keeping this fact in view, an on farm trail was conducted on farmers ’fields by KVK, Lucknow. Results revealed that use of Faromin trap was very effective as compared to spray of insecticides and farmers ’practices (no control measures).
