Abstract

An experiment was conducted during 2014–15 at the Research Orchard of Horticulture, College of Agriculture Gwalior to study the effect of different rooting media and IBA concentration on rooting behavior of air layers in acid lime. Total seven different rooting media were tested under experiment. Results revealed that maximum callus formation (0.44 cm), number of primary roots (28.63), number of secondary roots (89.10), length of primary roots (11.15 cm), length of secondary roots (6.03 cm) and diameter of primary roots (0.66 cm) was recorded with treatment combination of soil + vermicompost + cocopeat with IBA 2000 ppm.
