Abstract

The present study was undertaken to know the effect of FYM and gypsum on economics of carrot seed production under high RSC of water in the research area of department of Vegetable Science, CCS,HAU, Hisar during 2015–16 and 2016–17. The results revealed that maximum seed yield (5.51 and 5.48q/ha) was recorded in the plot incorporated with 20 tonns/ha FYM and 100% neutralization of RSC with gypsum during 2015–16 and 2016–17 respectively. B: C ratio was also found maximum (1:3.82 and 1:3.84) in the same treatment during 2015–16 and 2016–17 respectively. It is concluded from this study that by adding FYM (20tonns/ha) and with 100% neutralization of RSC with gypsum maximum benefit can be taken in carrot seed production.
