On the occasion of Green Revolution Golden Jubilee celebration the present study was undertaken tounderstand the nitty-grittyofagri-diversification vis-à-vis beekeeping. Twogreen revolution states i.e. Punjab and Haryana were purposivelyselected but in Haryana no active beekeepers were found in or around the randomly selected villages and so 9 respondents were selected from Punjab through snowball sampling method. For 10 frames and 25 beehives model B: C ratio was 1.54, which depicted that beekeeping was profitable venture in the region. Lowprice of honey and its by-products (W=62)’ was rated as most serious constraints by the beekeepers. It can be concluded that if the perceived constraints are resolved then the prospects of beekeeping would further increase in the study locale.
