This study was conducted in Sirohi district of Rajasthan to analyse the yield and economics of sesame under frontline demonstrations. The results of study revealed that sesame yield under demonstrations was substantially higher over local check. The average yield obtained from the three years of demonstrations was 24. 83 per cent higher than the average yield obtained from local check. FLD participating farmers fetched better price of their produce as compared to the control group (local checks) during the study period. The average net returns obtained from demonstrations was Rs. 5900/hectare higher than the average net returns obtained from local check.
