The use of electronic resources among the faculty members of premier educational institution in Tamilnadu

Today we are living in the age of information. Large amount of information is being generated every moment. The information technology revolution has changed the functioning of the libraries in the recent days. The technological evolution has passed the way for conversion of traditional libraries in to the digital libraries. A digital library is basically an internet based service, provides an easy access to all kinds of information from any where in the world. This paper deals with the faculty members of premier Educational Institutions in Tamilnadu with respect to their internet use behavior relating to their daily research teaching and service activities.
