Abstract

The paper introduces bibliometric investigation, applies bibliometric techniques for analyzing the Indian contributions to library & information science. The research papers of 21 years published in Indian library & information science periodicals taken into account for bibliometric investigation. The paper highlighted the bibliometric analysis of all the source articles of Indian LIS periodicals of 21 years duration. Also the author dispersion, subject dispersion, form dispersion and time dispersion of all the citations appended with the source articles examined. The paper presented a picture of profile of Indian contributions to LIS.]
