Automation of Shyam Lal College Library: An experience

The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the application of skills, knowledge,project management principles to library automation (like Retrospective conversion of SLC library holdings) and to share my personal experience as to how I completed this project of library automation of Shyam Lal college library with other libraries. This paper discuss the benefits of Library automation and What are the problems come across like finance, HRM, Hardware, software, other limitations in automation project and how I overcome these problems. I personally realized that I have to improve the infrastructure if they are to become integral parts of the global information infrastructure.
