The libraries play an important role in personal information infrastructure development. The library resources have greater impacts on user satisfaction. The gulf countries need to concentrate more on these library resources to provide sufficient knowledge acquisition and dissemination to its people. The gulf countries need to invest more for the research and developments. The higher education providers audited by various external quality assurance authorities in these countries are checked for the resource availabilities in the libraries and user satisfaction. The stakeholder's satisfactions depending on these resources are increasingly given more importance by the library managers. This research has been conducted to identify the impact levels of the various resources such as different type books and journals on the user satisfaction.
Primary data were collected from 640 library users and analyzed using different statistical measures such as central tendency, measures of deviation, simple and multiple linear regression analysis.
A model of impact has been developed based on the results. The high, medium and low impact factors of the library resources on user satisfaction have been identified. Also, the recommendations for the library managers, academicians and management to motivate the students to use the library resources have been expressed.
