The purpose of the paper is to examine the various features and components of Proprietary Integrated Library systems i.e, Libsys, virtua and troodon with the help of a specially designed evaluation checklist. The present study has been divided in to two parts i.e, Part-I: Qualitative analysis, and Part-II Quantitative analysis of ILMS data for better understanding of Librarians and other associated people to be able to check the in-depth feature/functions available in present study. Further, The quantitative part of checklist contains eight categories, namely: (i) Core modules; (ii) Acquisition module; (iii) Cataloguing module; (iv) Serial module; (v) Circulation module; (vi) Web-OPAC features; (vii) Article Indexing; and (ix) Other enhanced features of study ILMS. At end the suggestions and conclusion regarding Library management systems are also mentioned in the paper.
