To find the status of IT implementations in the digital library in universities of the Jammu and Kashmir region information was collected through questionnaire. Analysis of the responses helps understanding the status and level of digital library implementation by taking right steps within the existing resources. It will help formulation of recommendations for establishing, implementing and enhancing existing level of the component specially in pooling the resources by the universities.
