Technological trends and Library services in the digital Era At A.C. Joshi Library, Panjab university, Chandigarh

A.C. Joshi Library has reached higher up-gradation in the usage of information technology and promoting e-learning. It is always adapting to constantly changing eenvironment. It provides ample range of opportunities that provides solution to major challenges like IT revolution, network evolution, declining budgets, escalating prices of documents, high level of user's expectations and availability of information resources in distinct media and so on. This paper discusses the various technological trends and services in the 21st century, to the library users in this digital era, which have evolved through the integration of technology at A.C. Joshi library, Panjab University Chandigarh, to meet their ever changing information needs and information seeking behavior and to provide better services to the users.
