The main purpose of this is to describe the pattern of electronic information resources, use and satisfaction with University subscribed-paid resources provided under HELINET Consortium by the faculty members and students of affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka. The present paper looks at the eresources provided by the library under HELINET Consortium and their use by student and faculty members of affiliated colleges of RGUHS. The purpose of the study was to learn what e-resources were used, how they were used and why they were used. The main aim is to determine the use of e-resources, users ’skills in handling e-resources, and the purpose of their use

The paper aims to highlight the problems faced by users in accessing e-resources, their opinions on feature of e-resources, and their views on usefulness of e-resources. A Questionnaire method was used to examine and collect data from the students and faculty members. The collected data has been analyzed with the help of MS-Excel is used. Data gathered were analyzed and presented in statistical data in the form of tables, graphs and charts

The results of this study indicate that most of the faculty members and students, herein called users, prefer e-journals as it can be accessed remotely. Most respondents were aware and users of subscribed e-journals and they access them in their various college libraries. They also requested to conduct trainings and workshops on how to use access the e-journals

The study presents the assessment of the use of electronic resources under HELINET Consortium by the students and faculty members of the colleges affiliated to RGUHS.
