Studied of data collected from 1092 students and faculties by administering questionnaires on their use of electronic information resources especially different databases in four engineering colleges of Goa State and found that, students are more educated than faculties in the use of CD/DVD's databases. Further, it is revealed that users searching information mainly based upon Title search in CD/DVD's databases. Very less percent respondents faced difficulty in using CD/DVD's. Faculties encountered more difficulty than students.
