Authorship Pattern of Rain Water Harvesting Research Management Publications

Abstract

The purpose of the current study is to identify the authorship pattern of the publications in the field of rain water harvesting management during the period 2008 to 2017.The study was conducted based on the bibliographic data collected from the web of science database during the period 2008 to 2017. ‘Rainwater Harvesting’ and ‘Rainwater Harvesting Management’ are the search terms researcher used to collect the data for the study. A total of 1070 records retrieved, and it is identified that a total of 3994 authors has contributed to the research in this field during the period of study. Study output shows a clear dominance of increase of the trend towards collaborative research. Author productivity was higher from 2008 to 2010. The year 2009 got a maximum number of Global Citation Score with the value 1894. The highest Local Citation Score got in the year 2010 with a value of 662; Villarreal EL is the highly cited reference during the period of study; the study period average author per publication is (AAPP) is 3.61; the average productivity per author (PPA) is 0.28.
