Social networking sites (SNSs)/Web 2.0 tools are the results of advancement in information technology which are gaining their importance not only in social life but also showing their presence in educational organizations. It is seen, now a day's, everyone is connected with each other by means of various social networks like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Blogs, etc. which is an effective medium to share the knowledge and skills of the users. SNSs are also offering the opportunity to reach out to its clients. Hence, the number of universities which adopt SNSs are increasing. The present study is an investigation of five central universities of Delhi which are making use of social networking tools/web 2.0 tools in one or other ways in their websites.
