Abstract

Information seeking is a basic activity that is indulged in all people and manifested through a particular behaviour. Its study is known as information seeking behaviour which not only ascertained the behaviour of the users but also help in collection development and strengthening the services based on the user responses. This paper discusses the information seeking behaviour of the users comprising of the students, faculty members and the research scholars of few universities exist in Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh.
