Reflection of sv-wave at a free boundary of micro-isotropic, micro-elastic half space

In this paper, we investigated the reflection of SV-wave at a free boundary of micro-isotropic, micro-elastic half-space. We obtained the ratio of amplitude of reflected SV-wave to the amplitude of incident SV-wave and the ratio of amplitude reflected dilatation wave to the amplitude incident SV-wave. Further, these amplitude ratios are shown graphically against the various angles of incidence. The corresponding results of classical elasticity are obtained as particular cases of this paper.
