Abstract

This paper presents the analytical study for point wise availability of a complex system consisting of two sub systems A and B. Subsystem A consists of two identical units arranged in parallel redundancy (1-out-of-2:G). Subsystem B consists of only one unit with two types of failure, viz. partial and catastrophic.
