Abstract

This paper presents a reliability of a Methane Gas plant’s pipeline. This system consists of seven subsystems viz; Feeding System, Pretreater Vessel, Gasifier, Cyclone Separator, Shift Converter, Purifier and Nickel Catalyst system. These subsystems are arranged in series. Boolean Function Technique has been used to formulate and solve the mathematical model of considered system. Failures follow exponential time distribution. A numerical example and its graphical representation have also been appended in the end to highlight important result.
