In this paper the matrix modelling of 2-Lucas sequence is discussed, inspired by the matrix modelling of Fibonacci sequence [2]. A new and special kind of sequence, which is the extension of 2-Fibonacci and 2-Lucas sequence is introduced and this is denoted by 2-(MY12)p sequence, where MY12 denotes Mathematics Year 2012. The matrix modelling of 2-(MY12)p sequence is also established.
