Abstract

In the paper, we examined MHD steady flow of a Newtonian slightly conducting fluid through a uniform circular rotating porous tube in the presence of pressure gradient under the influence of a uniform magnetic field acts perpendicular to the flow direction. The tube is subjected to the rotating with an angular velocity and the non-Darcian equation of the flow is applied to examine the flow in porous medium. The solutions for the velocity and angular velocity distributions of a Newtonian fluid flowing through a uniform circular tube are obtained. The effect of the permeability parameter on the angular velocity and the flow of the fluid in completely investigated and represented graphically.
