Evaluation of Efficiet and Extreem Efficient Units Using Non-Parametric Approach

Abstract

This paper investigates the infeasibility of super-efficiency Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model in which the observed unit under evaluation is excluded from the reference set. By applying Constant Return to Scale (CRS) and Variable Return to Scale (VRS)-DEA model we obtain the efficiency score of each unit. Further we applied Super Efficiency (SE) model to locate the position of the unit under evaluation when infeasibility occur. Here it is identified the endpoint position of the extreme efficient units. In our study we have been taken the district Central Cooperative Banks in India to investigate empirically and the results based on empirical investigations are highlighted.
