Abstract

In the proposed paper an electrical configuration of data acquisition system to measure varying resistance of SnO2 gas sensor in presence of varying concentration of gases like Propane-2-ol,Methanol, Acetone and Methyl Ketone is presented. The proposed circuit gives desired linear characteristics for varying concentration of gases. In the experimental measurement SnO2 doped with Palladium shows highest sensitivity and SnO2 doped with gold shows least sensitivity for all volatile organic compound (VOCs).
