We have studied the behaviour of higher transverse modes. We gave for each of these modes remarkably accurate analytical estimate for its specific localization length. All modes in the regular island were effectly coupled to one another by dynamical tunneling in the presence of irregular yet directed motion because of interplay between directed regular motion and counter moving irregular motion, which gave rise to characteristic structures in the mode-specific transmission probabilities of the current transporting regular modes. These intricate structures can be accounted for by a simple magnetic field, applied perpendicular to the scattering area.
