Abstract

By employing distorted wave method along with suitable form of polarization potential differential cross sections have been calculated in the energy range 100 eV -300 eV for scattering of positrons by potassium and sodium atoms in small angular range of scattering to analyse the impact of polarization on positron-atom scattering.
