Abstract

Bat guano is an old faecal matter and was collected from the old temples located in the rim of Lonar crater situated within Parvani quadrangle (19°58’ N and 76°31, E) in Maharashtra State India. In the present work, Bat guano was analyzed for its Nitrogen (N), Inorganic Phosphorus (ip), and Potassium (K). Efficiency of bat guano as organic manure was also assessed by amending it with soil. For this study Triticum aestivum plant was selected. In this study the germination time and growth factor with respect to height and colour intensity were recorded and concluded that the bat guano can be used safely as excellent biologically natural manure.
