Litopenaeus vannamei is one of the commercial Pacific white shrimp globally edible species. The limitation of edible and commercial shrimp is due to lack of successful replacement of live food with formulated feeds. To promote the growth of form industry it is necessary to improve nutritionally complete substitution diet rather than supplement diet. In this study, live feed combinations of three different phytoplankton and two zooplanktons were used for better survival rate of P. Vannamei. Artemia nauplii served as potent source of nutrient requirements as a live feed, a large scale demand in developing formulated feeds for shrimp hatcheries commercial development. Growth and survival of the marine fish or Crustacean larvae are influenced by size and dietary value of the organism used as food. Improving nutritional research towards the cultivable species of the aquatic animals has been receiving great attention all over the world. Investigations on nutritionally important diet that reveals the importance of essential fatty acids (EFA), vitamins, minerals and amino acids in larval nutrition.
