An experiment was carried using twenty genotypes of marigold to study the association and interrelationship among the yield attributes and their direct and indirect effects in the flower yield. The results of character association analysis of pooled data revealed that flower yield per hectare showed positive correlation with plant height, plant spread, dry weight of flower, number of flowers per plant, flower diameter, dry weight per flower and flower yield per plant. Path coefficient analysis of genotypic and phenotypic exhibited high positive and direct effect of plant height, flower diameter, flower yield per plant and thousand seed weight on yield per hectare. Thus any selection based on these characters will enhance performance and improvement flower yield in marigold.
