Finding Interdependence of Apparently Independent Factors Affecting the Success of Tender Business in Haryana, India

Abstract

Haryana the cradle of Indus Valley and Vedic civilization is one of the wealthiest state of India. The state's economy largely depends upon agriculture and business process out sourcing. Many factors affect the tender business in Haryana. The objective of the study is to find the most important independent factors that affect success of tender sales in Haryana, India. To meet this objective a survey was conducted and data reduction technique “Factor Analysis” is used to find the most important factors. It is found that the main three factors are namely “Safe Variety”, “Democratic Opinion” and “Long Term Budget”. With these findings, one can scan the market and meet the right customers to understand the need of them.
