Enset is among the main home garden plant that largely used for human food, animal forage, fiber, construction materials, medicine, and cultural practices. Its processing is exclusively done by women’s in traditional methods which consume working time and face them tedious work load, that affect their efficiency and success in the community. The general objective of those activity was to demonstrate and Scale-up Improved Post-Harvest Enset Processing Technologies in Somodo Kebele. In the intervention area two Farm Research Groups having a total of 24 members were organized for delivering training and technology distribution. Finally, two (2) Squeezer, eight (8) Scrapers and fifty six (56) Purdue Improved Crop Storage (PICS) bags were distributed for selected farmers with training on technology utilization. Technology demonstration were organized and a total of 44 participants were participated on the event. From an intervention 24 household directly benefited. The participants’ feedback indicated that the demonstrated improved Enset technologies was highly preferred due its low cost, easy to implement, time effective, reduce women work load and post-harvest lose than the traditional ones. Since those improved Enset Processing technologies have positive feedback from participants in the intervention area, we recommend that governmental, Non-governmental institution and other any concerned bodies should work on the wider promotion and scaling up.
