A field experiment was conducted during two consecutive years of 2014-15 and 2015-16 at Instructional Farm of Dakshin Dinajpur Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Majhian, Patiram, Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal, India to study the residual effect of integrated nutrient management in hybrid rice (Oryza sativa L.) on succeeding lentil. The experiment, consisted of ten treatments, was laid out in randomized block design where each treatment was replicated thrice. The soil of experimental field was clay loam having a pH of 5.3, available N of 258.7 kg ha-1, available P2O5 of 24.4 kg ha-1 and available K2O of 119.3 kg ha-1. Application of 25% RDN from urea + 75% RDN from dhaincha green manure in kharif rice had higher residual effect on succeeding lentil with respect to growth attributes, yield components and yield (seed yield, stick yield and biological yield), gross return, net return and return per rupee investment, which was significantly higher than all other treatment combinations used in kharif rice on the basis of pooled data of two years of rice-lentil crop sequence.
