Abstract

The present investigation on seasonal incidence of leaf miner on groundnut with three different staggered sowings was conducted at RARS (Regional Agricultural Research Station), Palem, Nagarkurnool district, Telangana state with three treatments and seven replications in a randomized block design (RBD). The variety K-6 was sown in three staggered sowings (D1: 1st October; D2: 15th October and D3: 1st November) and the incidence of leaf miner was recorded and it was correlated with different weather parameters viz., maximum temperature, maximum temperature, RH-‘! and RH-a!. The results depicted that the population of leaf miner showed a positive and significant association with the temperature maximum (r= 0.503) and temperature minimum (r= 0.675) and a negative and significant correlation with the relative humidity (r= −0.475) in the morning and evening (r=−0.123).
