Declining camel population trends in India is a very serious issue in camel husbandry development. Therefore, the one hundred and twenty camel dairy farmers in Bikaner district of Rajasthan state were interviewed to study personal, situational, socio-economic, communicational, psychological profile of camel dairy farmers. Majority of the camel dairy farmers of study area were found middle-aged (35-60 years); Other Backward Class caste category; male respondents, illiterates; occupation comprises of agriculture, animal husbandry, labour/service; total annual income between 1 40 thousand to 2 lakhs; land size of above 2 to 4 hectares; nuclear families, medium size of family members (4 to 10) and had medium level of social participation, socio-economic status and communication sources. Majority of camel dairy farmers of study area had medium level of attitude towards dairy entrepreneurship, medium level of knowledge of scientific management practices and medium level of economic motivation in camel dairy farming, These observations can be very useful to analysing the existing camel farming situation and to organize veterinary extension education programmes for adoption of scientific management practices not only to increase production, entrepreneurship development in camel dairy farming but also to increase camel population in study area.
