The concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere have increased due to human-induced causes such as industrialization, deforestation, etc. The effects of changes in the climate are felt because of the steady rise in sea levels, irregular precipitation patterns, and rising global temperatures. Agricultural productivity is reduced by climate change, which causes more instability in crop production, which disrupts the global food supply and causes food and nutritional insecurity. Agriculture is not only impacted by the effects of climate change and climate variance, but it is also worsened by the emissions of greenhouse gases through various farming practices. A transition in agricultural techniques toward climate-resilient approaches will be essential for effectively addressing food security and climate change issues. Climate Smart Agriculture is a concept that aims to enhance scientific guidelines and investment strategies for sustainable agriculture development, therefore ensuring availability of food in the context of climate change. The concept of “climate smart agriculture” (CSA) has emerged as a strategy that might help reduce poverty and boost agricultural production in the face of environmental change on a global basis.
