An experiment was conducted to determine the favorable temperature for maximum growth and sporulation of different strains of Trichoderma viride and Trichoderma harzianum, and it was found that most of the Trichoderma strains showed rapid mycelial growth and sporulation at 30°C. Temperature of 30°C is best for growth and sporulation for all strains of Trichoderma viride / Trichoderma harzianum. However. Variation in growth and sporulation among different strains observed at different temperature which indicates that different strains may have different degree of potential to promote plant growth and disease control at different geographical locations having diverse climate.
