An experiment was conducted on 125 broiler chicks in deep litter system to investigate the replacement of maize by enzymatic treated sorghum and its effect on growth performance of broilers. The chicks were divided into five groups G1; G2, G3, G4 and G5, respectively. G1 treated as control group starter broiler mash (with maize), G2 was starter broiler mash (25% maize replaced by enzymatic treated sorghum), G3 was starter broiler mash (50% maize replaced by enzymatic treated sorghum), G4 was starter broiler mash (75% maize replaced by enzymatic treated sorghum and G5 was starter broiler mash (100% maize replaced by enzymatic treated sorghum. During evaluation of haematological parameters, it was observed that the 25% sorghum (treated with natuzyme enzyme) and 75% maize mash found to be superior over other treatments of diet with different levels of sorghum in broiler chicks. It may be suggested that the maize replaced by 25% enzymatic treated sorghum mesh was beneficial for the better growth of broiler chicks and also enhances the output of the production.
