A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2008–09 at Research Farm of Jawahar Lal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, College of Agriculture, Indore (Madhya Pradesh) for evaluating the sowing techniques of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrill.]. Ridge method of sowing and 30 cm x 10 cm planting geometry with plant population of 333333 plants ha-1and 5 cm depth of sowing showed promising effect on growth parameters and yield attributes and higher income in soybean.
