Adult activity of Agrotis segetum (Denis & Schiffermueller) was monitored using the light trap. Correlation of catch data with the cutworm activity and abiotic factors was worked out during 2010 and 2011 in the mid hills of the Himachal Pradesh. In both the years, moth activity commenced in the last week of the February (8th standard meteorological week, SMW) and ceased by the end of the June (25–26th SMW) as monitored through light traps. A negative correlation existed between the moth catch and relative humidity during both the years. The correlation coefficient (r) of larval count with catch data in preceding week was significant during 2011 but non-significant during 2010.
