Effect of temperature and rainfall is the most important environmental factors influencing crop growth, development, and yield processes. The experiment was conducted at Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Allahabad, India during summer 2014 where temperature during July and August reaches above and lowest 36°C, with different date of transplanting and rice varieties (D1V1, D2V2 and D3V3 with gap of 10 days). The rice seed yield was recorded highest under D1, which sown mid of July where temperature was 35°C, followed by D2 which sown fourth week of July where temperature was 37°C and lowest yield was recorded in D3 which sown on first week of August where temperature was 30°C, which is not suitable for rice production.
