A field trial was conducted to study the bio-efficacy of four doses of chlorpyrifos 35% + fipronil 3.5% EC @ 875 + 87.5 g a i ha−1, chlorpyrifos 35% + fipronil 3.5% EC @ 437.5 + 43.75 g a i ha−1, chlorpyrifos 35% + fipronil 3.5% EC @ 350 + 35 g a i ha−1 and chlorpyrifos 35% + fipronil 3.5% EC @ 262.5 + 26.25 g a i ha−1 along with chlorpyrifos 20% EC @ 400 g a i ha−1 and fipronil 5% SC @ 50 g a i ha−1 against diamond back moth (Plutella xylostella i.) and aphids (Lipaphis erysimi Kalt.) of cabbage (Brassica oleraceae var. capitata Linnis) at Horticulture Farm, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur during rabi 2012–13 and 2013–14. The results showed that the two application of chlorpyrifos 35% + fipronil 3.5% EC @ 875 + 87.5 g a i ha−1 was found significantly most effective, which recorded minimum population, 0.13 larvae plant−1 (97.45% reduction) and 0.20 larvae plant−1 (95.89% reduction) during 2012–13 and 2013–14, respectively. This treatment was also most effective against aphid with 12.7 aphids plant−1 (77.90% reduction) during 2012–13 and 11.67 aphids plant−1 (79.74% reduction) during 2013–14.
