The bio-efficacy of different treatments of flubendiamide 90 + deltamethrin 60 - 150 SC @ 167, 200 and 250 ml ha−1 along with deltamethrin 100 EC @ 150 ml ha−1, flubendiamide 480 SC @ 47 ml ha−1, Dichlorvos 76 EC @ 650 ml ha−1 and quinalphos 25 EC @ 1250 ml ha−1 were evaluated against red pumpkin beetle (Aulacophora foveicol- lis Lucas) and fruit fly (Bactrocera cucurbitae Coquillett) in cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) during summer and kharif 2012. The results revealed that two spray of flubendiamide 90 + deltamethrin 60 - 150 SC @ 250 ml ha−1 at 7 days interval was most found effective in reducing red pumpkin beetle and fruit fly infestation in cucumber. It exhibited lower population of red pumpkin beetle, highest reduction and minimum fruit damage due to fruit fly. Spray of flubendiamide 90 + deltamethrin 60 - 150 SC @ 200 ml ha−1 was next in order of effectiveness. Spray of flubendiamide 90 + deltamethrin 60 - 150 SC @ 167, 200 and 250 ml ha−1 did not cause adverse effect on natural enemies, and even at exaggerated doses it did not produce phytotoxicity in cucumber.
