The present study was conducted in Achalpur panchayat samiti of Amravati district (Maharashtra), India to analyze the socio-economic profile and involvement of farm women in integrated child development scheme (ICDS). The socio-economic profile was studied under two heads; personal and family characteristics. Primary data regarding involvement of farm women in ICD Swere collected through interview schedule in 13 villages of Achalpur Taluka. The findings showed that the majority of the women involved in ICDS scheme were young age group, married, not highly educated belonged to nuclear family. Their family income was ranging between ₹ 30001–60000 anuum−1, and women mostly engaged in agriculture and also worked as labour. Majority of farm women had unfavorable attitude and maximum farm women irrespective of their characters possessed medium knowledge level about ICDS. Therefore, Government should plan and execute this scheme considering their socio-economic status and should give more chances to involve in ICDS scheme.
