The present experiment was conducted to study the effect of early feeding on the performance of broilers. Three thousand two hundred and forty day old Vencobb 400 chicks were divided in to three groups. Group T1 received feed immediately after hatching. Group T2 and T3 received feed 12 hrs and 24 hrs after hatching, respectively. During the experiment, observations were recorded for length of intestine, yolk weight, live weight, gain in weights, feed consumption and mortality. The results showed higher live weight, better FCR, increase in the length of intestine in the birds fed immediate after hatching. Thus, it can be concluded that early assess to water and feed improves overall performance of the birds
