Abstract

Nanoscale materials are used in practically every aspect of modern lifestyle involved in agriculture. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of different methodological synthesized nano fertilizers (Fe-NPs) to replace the chemically synthetic commercial Fe fertilizer which have various shortcomings. The experiments results show successfully synthesized and nano Fe-NPs (chemical and biological method) and Fe-NCPC and it was characterized by different valid advanced techniques i.e. DLS, SEM and FTIR to prove it nanoscale sized. Fe-NCPC 100% was recorded significantly increased the yield, nutrient content and uptake by rice crops followed by biological synthesized nano Fe then chemical synthesized nano Fe as compared to FeSO4.7H2O. RDFe of 25% through Fe-NCPC, Fe-NPs (Bio.) and Fe-Ns (Chem.) was also statistically at par variation with respect to 100% RD Fe of FeSO4.7H2O. Together, these results show that Fe nanoscale fertilizer can replace traditional chemical synthetic Fe fertilizers of in the growing of rice crops. However, more studies are required for the synthesis of nano Fe fertilizer by various cost-effective methods and also to evaluate the toxicity as well as its significant effectiveness on nutrient dynamics.
