Climatic and Physico-Chemical Factors Affecting Fish Pathogenesis by Watermoulds: A Review

Abstract

Fish is one of the oldest foods of human, and because of its importance as a rich source of protein, it is of great nutritional value. The climatic and physico-chemical factors for the parasites and diseases constitute one of the important factors in regulating the fish population in Pisciculture. The role of climatic and physico-chemical factors affecting the watermould populations, fish populations and fish pathogenesis by watermoulds had been reviewed. Furthermore, the role of pectolytic and proteolytic enzymes during pathogenesis had also been discussed.
