Nine diver pigeonpea genotypes were tested for three years at Hawalbagh farm of Uttarakhand (mid-altitudes) in Northwestern Himalayas, to study G x E interaction over years for important traits. Significant genotype x year interaction was observed for yield, pods/plant, branches/plant; plant height, 1000-grain weight and days to flowering and maturity. Seeds/pod and pod length were important characters for pigeonpea improvement in mid-altitudes of northern Himalayas.
