Line x tester analysis involving 11 randomly taken male sterile lines and five pollinators in pearl millet revealed that none of the parents were good combiner for days to 50% flowering and downy mildew incidence. For days to maturity, six females and two males were found to be good combiners. Hybrids having high sca effect along with both the parents having high gca effect were identified for days to maturity. For disease infestation, three lines were found to be good combiners for low incidence of ergot and smut.
