AMMI (Additive Main Multiplicative Interaction) analysis was carried out for Anthesis Silking interval (ASI) in fifteen genotypes of maize comprising five parents and their ten single crosses over six environment to study the stability of this trait in these genotypes. Analysis revealed significant GxE interaction which could be attributed to differential ranking of the genotypes across the environment. The GxE interaction was further partitioned into PCA axes, of which PCA I axis captured 71.35% to the total GxE variance followed by PCA II (18.63%). Genotypes YHP Alm217, Tarun 83, Pop3118xYHP Alm214, Pop3121 xTarun 83 and YHP Alm217xYHP Pant45 were identified as having general adaptability with high ASI values and PCA scores neared to zero. Higher ASI values reflected their susceptibility to Excess Soil Moisture (ESM) conditions. Among environments, the trials conducted under normal conditions had PCA values nearer to zero.
